UMAMI Kangasala -juhlakulkue ja Omikoshin tarina 6.7.2026
Aloitetaan UMAMI Kangasala -viikko yhdessä maanantaina!
Maanantaille 6.7.2026 suunniteltua Omikoshin juhlakulkueessa kantamista ei toteuteta liian pienen kantajajoukon vuoksi. Juhlakulkue toteutetaan avoimena, iloisena ja yhteisöllisenä UMAMI Kangasala -juhlakävelynä Roine-kampuksen kirsikkapuistolta Omikoshin luokse Kangasala-talolle.
Mitä matkan varrella tapahtuu?
– Kirsikkapuiston istutusjuhla alkaa klo 15.00 Roine-kampuksella (Finnentie 42, Kangasala). Juhlistamme tulevan puiston ensimmäisen kirsikkapuun istutusta yhdessä kunniavieraiden kanssa.
– Juhlakulkue starttaa istutuksen jälkeen noin klo 15.45 kohti Kangasala-taloa. Matka kestää noin 40 minuuttia.
– Kulkueen päätteeksi Kangasala-talolla pääsemme ihailemaan harvinaista Omikoshi-shintopyhäkköä lähietäisyydeltä ja tutustumaan sen upeaan tarinaan.
Tule mukaan juhlimaan juuri sellaisena kuin olet!

What happens along the way?

The Cherry Park planting ceremony starts at 3:00 PM at the Roine campus (Finnentie 42, Kangasala)
. We will celebrate the planting of the first cherry tree of the future park together with our guests of honor . -
The celebratory walking procession will depart after the planting ceremony at about 3:45 PM towards Kangasala Hall
. The walk takes approximately 40 minutes. -
At the end of the procession at Kangasala Hall, we will be admire the rare Omikoshi Shinto shrine up close and learn about its wonderful history
